Assign the turn to a room
Rotate responsibility by room so the schedule stays intact when someone moves. Show the exact containers due, not just “bins”.
Make swaps explicit
If someone is away, let another room accept the swap and keep a record of the change. A reminder on the collection eve is usually more useful than repeated messages all week.
